Inquiries continue to locate driver after prime mover theft at Chipping Norton, NSW

Inquiries are continuing after prime-mover was stolen from a Chipping Norton business this morning, NSW Police say.

The break-in at the Alfred Road business around 12/20am (Friday 9 February 2018)

Police believe the prime mover’s fuel tank was damaged when it left the premises.

The vehicle lost a significant amount of fuel. Fire & Rescue NSW HAZMAT personnel attended to the fuel spills on Alfred Road, Governor Macquarie Drive, Nuwarra Road, Wattle Grove Drive, ANZAC Road, Moorebank Avenue, Cambridge Avenue and Canterbury Road

The abandoned prime mover was ultimately recovered at a property in Macquarie Fields.

Inquiries are still continuing to locate the driver and sole occupant

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
