Investigating police release offensive behaviour CCTV stills in Newcastle

Police are appealing for information following an offensive behaviour incident at Newcastle earlier this month, NSW Police say.

About 6.40pm on Friday 10 November 2017, five naked males were captured on CCTV entering a fast-food restaurant on Kings Street.

Two of the men were seen to have an object covering their modesty.

Officers from Newcastle City Local Area Command are investigating the incident and have released CCTV images in an attempt to identify the males.

Newcastle City Crime Manager, Detective Chief Inspector Peter Mahon said while the incident may appear amusing to some, there were several families with small children in the restaurant at the time.

"Police are investigating this display of offensive behaviour and are seeking assistance from the public to identify the males".

Anyone with information is urged to contact Newcastle Police or Crime Stoppers.
