Police have commenced an investigation following an alleged stabbing in Sydney's south west.
About 8.10pm today (Sunday 29 June 2025), emergency services were called to Auburn Street, Yagoona, following reports a man had been found with stab wounds.
On arrival, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command provided first aid to a 21-year-old man who had suffered three stab wounds to his right thigh.
Police were told he had been assaulted by a group of about ten males in a park on Nobbs Road, Yagoona, before he crossed the rail corridor to Auburn Street.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident, which is believed to be a targeted attack.
