An investigation has commenced into four vehicles being damaged by fire in Sydney's south west.
Shortly before 1am today (Wednesday 1 October 2025), emergency services responded to reports that four vehicles were on fire in Harris Street, Fairfield.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fires which resulted in two vehicles being completely destroyed and the other two left damaged.
Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
Initial inquires indicate that an accelerant was used on one of the vehicles and the fire spread to the other vehicles due to flowing fuel on the ground.
None of the vehicles have been reported as stolen.
There are no reports of any person being injured.
