Police have commenced an investigation following a fire at a business in Sydney's south west.
About 3am today (Wednesday 3 September 2025), emergency services were called to a business on Smart Street, Fairfield, following reports of a fire.
The fire caused limited damage before being extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW.
There were no occupants and no reports of injuries.
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident, which is being treated as suspicious.
