Investigation into suspicious house fire at Seaton, SA

Police are investigating a suspicious house fire at Seaton this afternoon, according to SA Police.

Police and fire crews were called to the Clark Terrace house just before 1pm Thursday 21 September after reports from concerned neighbours.

Thankfully there was no one home at the time of the incident and minor damage was caused to the front of the premises.

The fire is believed to have been deliberately lit, MFS report finding an accelerant near the point of ignition.

Crime Scene Investigators and CIB detectives are examining the circumstances surrounding the fire. Although the investigation is in its early stages, this is not believed to be a random incident.
