Investigation into Wodonga burglary continues

Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit detectives have interviewed two men in relation to a burglary at a community hall in Wodonga last Friday, Victoria Police say.

Offenders broke into the hall on Watson Street, causing damage by setting off a number of fire extinguishers.

It is believed the same offenders have returned on Saturday night and stole a television from inside the hall.

Three men were seen leaving the scene in a black Ford Falcon.

When police attended and dusted for fingerprints they located a bum print on a glass door.

Police interviewed a 21-year-old Lavington man and a 22-year-old Benalla man.

Both have been released without charge pending further enquiries.

Detectives believed they know the owner of the bum print but are not ruling out a line up to crack the case and do not believe it was a local bum.

Anyone with any information on the burglary is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
