Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Sydney’s south-west last night, NSW Police say.
About 7.30pm (Monday 5 February 2018), police have been told a 52-year-old man was at a car wash business on Atchinson Road, Macquarie Fields.
He was approached by another man armed with a sharp object, believed to be a knife.
The armed man threatened him before stealing his car, a red Audi sedan.
The 52-year-old man was not injured in the incident but was taken to Liverpool Hospital for assessment.
Police from Campbelltown Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
