Investigation underway into armed robbery - Regents Park

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a hotel in Regents Park today.

Just after 10.40am (Sunday 18 August 2019), emergency services were called to licensed premises on Amy Street, following reports of an armed robbery.

Police have been told three men entered the building from the rear. One man approached a female bar attendant and threatened her with a gun while demanding cash from the register.

A man threatened a male employee and patron with a gun and demanded cash from a safe.

All three men fled the scene with cash and police were contacted. No injuries have been reported.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the robbery.

One man was seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, green pants, black shoes, a white hat and a black cloth covering his face.

A second man was seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, red shoes and a black cloth covering his face.

A third man was wearing a black and white hoodie with black pants, grey shoes and a white cloth covering his face.
