Investigation underway into club break in at Darlington Point

Police are appealing for information after a sports club was broken into in the state's south west earlier today.

Shortly after 5am (Tuesday 28 January 2020), two men broke into a registered club in Demaniel Street, Darlington Point and attempted to open a safe using an angle grinder.

The men stole a number of items, including cash and computer equipment before fleeing.

Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District attended and established a crime scene.

As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Inquiries are continuing.
