Investigations after man shot dead - Elizabeth Hills

About 4pm on Monday 22 May 2023, emergency services were called to Hertfordshire Street, Elizabeth Hills, following reports of a shooting.

On arrival, officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command located a 24-year-old man suffering several gunshot wounds.

Despite the efforts of police and NSW Ambulance paramedics, the man died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene was established, which is being examined by specialist forensic officers.

Police are investigating whether two vehicles located on fire in Cave Close, Green Valley and Lewis Street, Bonnyrigg Heights are linked.

Detectives from Liverpool City Police Area Command and the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, assisted by other South-West Metropolitan police and State Crime Command squads, have commenced an investigation under Strike Force Hackenberg into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
