Investigations into glassing incident continue in Cabramatta

Police have commenced inquiries into an incident at Cabramatta overnight where a man and woman suffered minor injuries after an alleged glassing incident, NSW Police say.

About 10.20pm yesterday today, police believe that two 29-year-old women were at a licensed club in Fairview Road.

When a 38-year-old man allegedly put his arm around one of the women an altercation ensued.

During the altercation one of the women smashed a glass on the man’s head which also injured a 39-year-old woman.

Both the man and woman suffered lacerations to their heads from the glass.

Police from Cabramatta Local Area Command were contacted and attended a short time later establishing a crime scene.

The injured man and woman were conveyed to Liverpool Hospital after receiving treatment from Ambulance Paramedics at the scene.

Investigators obtained the details of those involved and continue with their inquiries into the incident.
