Investigations underway after attempted armed robbery at Nowra

Investigations are underway following an attempted armed robbery at a service station in Nowra overnight.

Just after 11pm (Tuesday 1 June 2021), two people – with their faces concealed – attended a service station on Kalandar Street, Nowra.

The pair – armed with wooden poles – hit the window several times, cracking the glass. They were unable to gain entry and fled the scene.

A 38-year-old male employee retreated to another room and notified police.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and established a crime scene.
