Investigations underway after fatal crash in Sydney's north west

Investigations are underway following a fatal two-vehicle crash in Sydney's north west this afternoon.

About 3.20pm (Monday 8 November 2021), officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were called to Pennant Hills Road at the M2, West Pennant Hills, following reports a truck and utility travelling south had collided.

The passenger of the utility was assisted by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.

The male drivers of both vehicles will be taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

The circumstances surrounding the crash will be investigated.
