Police have commenced an investigation following a suspicious fire in Burwood today.
About 5am (Friday 13 June 2025) emergency services were called to a shop on Burwood Road, Burwood, following reports of a fire.
The fire was contained a short time later and minor damage was caused to the premises.
Police have not located anyone with injuries.
A crime scene has been established, which will be forensically examined by specialist officers.
Investigations into the fire – which is being treated as suspicious – have commenced.
