It's not going to be a happy Mother's Day for this mum

A 22-year-old woman will be in the bad books with her mum after she allegedly crashed her mother’s vehicle in Richmond this morning, Victoria Police say.

Police attended in Lyndhurst Street after reports a vehicle had crashed into a fence at an apartment complex about 2.30am.

The woman, who was still in the vehicle when police arrived, returned a positive preliminary breath test.

She was taken back to a police station for an evidentiary breath test, returning an alleged reading of 0.236 per cent.

The Fitzroy woman has been charged with careless driving, unlicensed driving, and other traffic related offences.

She will appear at court at a later date.
