It makes sense that as days get shorter and colder, early morning and late evening patronage at the local pool declines.
In response, Lithgow Council is reminding people that from the 1 June, weekend and public holiday operating hours have been changed to an opening time of 8am, and closure at 4pm.
This change will not affect the provision of specialised programs such as Aqua Aerobics and Learn to Swim.
It's such a treat to have an indoor pool for year-round exercise. With the indoor facility is heated inside and out, parents and grandparents can stay warm while the rest of the family swims. So, regardless of outdoor temperatures, you can swim at the J M Robson Aquatic Centre in comfort, whether it be for exercise or leisure.
