Jewellery and cash stolen in Mickleham burglary

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a burglary where $100K in jewellery was stolen in Mickleham earlier this month.

It is understood two unknown men gained access by kicking in the front door to a residential property on Old Sydney Road about 2.55pm on 2 November.

Investigators believe the pair took off with approximately $100k in jewellery, as well as a substantial amount of cash.

No one was home at the time of the burglary.

Police believe the two males drove a stolen dark blue BMW X4 to the property, before leaving in the same vehicle.

Investigators have released CCTV footage and images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

One man is described as having olive skin, a dark beard, short dark hair and being of medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black Nike hoodie and black Nike pants.

The second man is described as having olive skin and a dark beard and being of solid build.

He was last seen wearing a black cap, black jumper and denim blue shorts.
