Jewellery worth $200,000 stolen from Sydney’s North Shore home

Police investigating the theft of jewellery from a home on Sydney’s North Shore have released images as they appeal for public assistance.

Between 4am on Friday 11 September 2015 and 2.30pm on Saturday 12 September, a unit on Burns Bay Road at Lane Cove was broken into while the owners weren’t home, NSW police said.

Jewellery worth an estimated $200,000 was stolen from a safe.

Police were alerted when the theft was discovered and officers from North Shore Local Area Command have commenced inquiries.

As the investigation continues, police have released images of some of the jewellery stolen from the home.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators is urged to come forward.
