Jewllery shop burglary in Bendigo

Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses to identify a man in relation to a burglary which occurred in Bendigo overnight.

The incident happened on Mitchell Street when the burglar smashed the front door of the jewellers about 2am.

After entering the shop, the burglar broke open a locked cabinet and stole various watches.

A short time later the burglar left the shop and walked off along Bath Lane.

He is described as tall, slim build and wearing a black hoodie, black pants and carrying a backpack.
