Kangaroo Valley township isolated by road
Following excessive amounts of rainfall being experienced over the past few days there has been multiple landslides, along with significant road damages in and out of Kangaroo Valley.
The road from Cambewarra to Fitzory Falls is closed to ALL traffic, this includes Kangaroo Valley Road.
Transport for NSW's priority is to clear the landslips at Cambewarra Mountain as soon as possible, this may take several days before road access is re-opened for Kangaroo Valley.
Kangaroo Valley Recycling & Waste Depot is temporarily closed. Some kerbside waste collection will still operate, although some areas are not accessible due to road closures. Usual collection services will resume once roads are accessible.
NSW SES will ensure the Kangaroo Valley Supermarket and Kangaroo Valley Pharmacy are re-supplied as needed.
