KI woman charged with drug trafficking, SA

A Kangaroo Island woman was charged with drug trafficking yesterday, according to SA Police.

Acting on information received from the public, police attended a Kingscote address about 5pm on Tuesday 18 July with a drug warrant.

A search of the premises allegedly uncovered three grams of methamphetamine, empty plastic bags, a digital scale and other items involved in drug dealing.

Also located were 24 grams of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, ice and cannabis pipes.

The 70-year-old Kingscote woman was arrested and charged with sell controlled drug and unlawful possession.

She was bailed to appear in the Kingscote Magistrates Court on 21 August.
