Kidchella 2025: Gold Coast's Tiny Festival Delight

Kidchella at Surfers Paradise

The Gold Coast's iconic Kidchella is returning to Surfers Paradise with a free line-up of glittering entertainment that will keep the kids moving and grooving over 2 days.

Gold Coast Councillor Bob La Castra said 'the Coachella inspired event would be the perfect opportunity for the littlest festival goers to come together, have a dance and enjoy live entertainment.'

The City launched Kidchella as an annual event last year which proved to be a huge success with hundreds of kids and their parents enjoying their favourite music on the Surfers Paradise foreshore.

'Once again this year, there's something for all kids including a dance party for those who want to dance along to the DJ's beats together, or a silent disco for those who prefer listening to their own music for a solo dance.'

Music will include a session each day from local DJ Pia Pressure, who brings electrifying energy to every crowd and is sure to have your little one moving and grooving.

There will be a Coachella inspired Ferris wheel taking in spectacular views of the coastline, an art studio so kids can tap into their creativity and skate workshops for youngsters looking for some tips from expert coaches. You can even BYO basketball to shoot some hoops on the basketball court!

Kids will also love the Glam Bar where they can add some festival vibes to their look.

Families are encouraged to catch the bus, ride the G:link to Cavill Avenue or make their journey active and walk, ride, scoot or skate to the event.
