Footscray police received multiple calls this morning in regard to a goat on the loose, Victoria Police say.
The goat had been seen in Roberts Street and Cemetery Road throughout the morning.
Police eventually caught up with the rogue goat who was hanging out on Somerville Road.
The goat was ‘arrested’ and went quietly with police officers back to Footscray Police Station where he is chilling out until his owners are located.
Anyone who recognises the goat is urged to contact Footscray Police Station on 8398 9800.
