This Friday 19 April is the Good Friday Appeal Kids Day Out event at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
CFA is once again proud to be involved in this annual festival joining other emergency service agencies on the lawn displaying a variety of appliances, kid's activities and entertainment from April and Captain Koala with the Fire Safety Show.
Come down, say hello and enjoy a fun day for all the family.
Activities include:
Teddy Bear Hospital
Bring your teddy or soft toy for a check-up at the Teddy Bear Hospital with Teddy Bear doctors from The University of Melbourne. There will also be bears available for purchase from a variety of emergency service agencies including CFA, Aviation Rescue, SES, Ambulance Vic and Victoria Police with all proceeds going to the appeal.
Ice Skating Wonderland
Lace up your skates at the Bank of Melbourne Ice Skating Wonderland or take a ride down the 15 metre ice slide. Skate hire is available at the venue so kids of all ages can skate the day away.
Classic Cars
Walk through the Thunderbird Owners Club collection of classic cars.
Woolworths Fresh Food Market
Treat your taste buds to some delicious produce at the Woolworths Fresh Fair.
Carnival Rides, Kids Disco, Kids Yoga and more….
ENTRY IS FREE: You do not need to book or buy tickets. Select activities are $3 - $10, with other activities by gold coin donation.
