Labor Is All Talk And No Action On Crime Policy

Liberal Party Victoria
Jacinta Allan's 'all talk and no action' approach to crime has again been exposed by revelations there is no legislation to support Labor's 'adult time for violent crime' policy.

The Premier took the time and taxpayers' money to order a fancy backdrop and posters for her media conference today to announce 'adult time for violent crime' but had no legislation to present to Parliament.

Jacinta Allan leads a government of announcements, not achievements. She is all froth and no beer.

This is no joke. This is an insult to every victim of crime waiting to see the government take action to address the crime crisis.

Victoria's crime crisis is real. Crime is at record levels. Two young boys were murdered with machetes on their way home from basketball. A woman was stabbed in the street by a random stranger. Machete-wielding gang members had a fight at a shopping centre in broad daylight.

Victorians deserve better than a government more focused on good publicity than delivering good government.

It's time for a fresh start with a government that backs words with actions.
