A majority Labor Government will deliver funding to make Tasmania's sporting clubs safer.
Shadow Minister for Sport David O'Byrne said Labor's funding for a 'Safer Clubs' campaign will help ensure all Tasmanians can participate in sport safely.
"A Labor Government will provide $200,000 a year, over two years to fund a 'Safer Clubs' campaign," Mr O'Byrne said.
"The goal of this campaign is to help make community clubs safer for female participants and volunteers and the funding will help with this important work.
"Everyone deserves the right to participate in sport no matter their background or gender and I am proud that a majority Labor Government will help this campaign create better outcomes for Tasmanians.
"Labor is working for Tasmanians to deliver healthy, active and better-connected communities"
