Labor's Blatant Disregard Of Tasmanians

Tasmanian Government

Federal Labor members have become Canberra apologists, completely selling out the Tasmanians who voted them in.

Federal Member for Bass, Jess Teesdale, and Federal Agriculture Minister, Julie Collins, have abandoned the people of the North East.

Have Ms Teesdale and Minister Collins advocated to the Prime Minister to overturn the decision made by their Labor colleague?

Tasmanians aren't buying Labor's hands-off approach.

Minister Collins claimed there was a rigorous process at the same time Ms Teesdale claimed to not have all the details of the sale approved by her Government.

But both Labor members were quick to push an unproven jobs claim.

Tasmanians have questions: what are these 190 jobs, where will they be based, what will they do, when will they be employed?

Instead of running cover for Canberra, we call on Ms Teesdale and Minister Collins to stand up for the people of Bass and our farmers.

Australian taxpayers should not be coughing up $69 million to turn productive Tasmanian farmland into trees to tick a climate policy box.
