The Morrison Government is providing $22,000 to support the Jindabyne community host the popular Jindabyne Lake Light Sculpture Festival, which runs from 2 -5 April.
Senator for NSW Jim Molan said the Morrison Government's funding would help make the event bigger and better.
"I am so pleased to announce that the Morrison Government is supporting this wonderful local event and unique tourism experience," Senator Molan said.
"Regional tourism is getting back on its feet after a devastating 12 months with help from the Morrison Government in the form of special grants for projects and events to boost visitor numbers."
Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Dan Tehan said the Government was supporting regional tourism.
"We want Australians to spend money on domestic tourism experiences to support local communities, local jobs and local businesses," Mr Tehan said.
"We want Australians to visit the Snowy Mountains and attend the Jindabyne Lake Light Sculpture Festival because it's fun and because it supports our tourism industry."
Jindabyne Lake Light Sculpture Festival Chairperson Lisa Matthes said: "The Snowy Monaro and wider South East NSW Region are excited to see this much loved annual outdoor sculpture event resurrected after a very challenging 2020 Easter period.
"The support provided has enabled this Easter's event to be expanded into an even bigger flagship Arts & Cultural event with exciting new elements. They will bring a new dimension for the viewing public as well as enabling regional artists to create something enduring after so much loss."
