Council crews will remove hedging from the corner of Grant and Downey Streets on Thursday 1 October, weather permitting.
Council has received approval from the Department of Transport and Planning and Victoria Police to proceed with these works.
Community feedback and what we heard during consultation on the Grant Street Safety and Streetscape Plan informed the decision to remove the hedging.
Replacement planting has not yet been confirmed. Council is considering low-growing groundcovers and will share further information once an option has been selected.
