Police are coordinating the evacuation of several properties following a landslip in Townsville City.
Around 1.15pm, police were advised that part of the hill behind Stanley Street had given way, causing damage to a retaining wall and part of a unit complex.
On advice from engineers, officers have evacuated all residents from the complex and two nearby properties, including another unit complex.
Drivers are asked to stay away from Stanley and Hale streets while emergency services tend to the situation.
No one was injured as a result of the landslip.
