Frankston police are hoping to locate the owner of a quantity of cash that was found yesterday, Victoria Police say.
It is believed a man found a large amount of money on a platform at the Frankston Railway Station on 9 June.
The money was then handed into the Frankston Police Station.
Police are hoping the owner will come forward to claim the money and identify the denominations, what the money was contained in and the total amount of money.
Police are not releasing the exact amount of cash.
