Last chance for artists, venues to sign up for Northern Fringe Festival

Now is your last chance to register for this year's Northern Fringe Festival.

The festival is back for its second instalment this year, after being called off last year because of COVID-19.

"The first Northern Fringe Festival was a real hit across Townsville, so it's exciting to be able to bring the festival back to our city this year," Community and Cultural Development Committee chairperson Ann-Maree Greaney said.

"Townsville City Council is focusing on making Northern Fringe Festival 2021 a COVID-safe event to make sure our community and visitors can attend safely. We want this year's festival to showcase high calibre art and performances, including acts from interstate.
