The 44 year old Launceston man wanted in relation to an alleged murder and wounding incident in Waverley last Thursday has been safely taken into custody a short time ago.
The man was taken into custody without incident during a police check of a Waverley property at 11.45pm last night.
Police investigations are continuing.
