Launch of October Business Month 2021

NT Government

October Business Month (OBM) is back for 2021, and this year is bigger and better than ever.

Through this program, the Territory Government continues to support small businesses to recover and rebound from the economic impacts of COVID-19, delivering over 90 workshops and networking events during October Business Month 2021.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on Territory businesses, especially those in hospitality, events, entertainment and tourism industries.

To help Territorians navigate through the current economic climate and businesses challenges, we are delivering a refreshed OBM program specifically tailored to each region.

The focus in each region is to give small businesses access to keynote presentations, masterclasses, local experts and practical information to help business owners, operators and employees respond to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19.

Our Territory Success Stories include a diverse range of Territory business owners and entrepreneurs, each of whom will bring their own local story to inspire and share practical skills with the business community.

Once again Territory businesses also have a chance to showcase their innovative ideas and win up to $1 million in Venture Capital at the inaugural Croc Pitch event.

Many OBM events are free to attend and there is a nominal charge to attend keynote presentations and masterclasses.

As part of the OBM COVID-19 Event Safety Plan all attendees must register to attend events.

The OBM program kicks off in Gove on Tuesday 5 October.
