Initiatives, such as the Audrey Fagan Leadership and Communications Program, are one way in which the ACT Government continues to develop opportunities for women and girls. This support is in line with the government’s commitment towards a community where women are safe, healthy, equally represented, and valued for their contribution to society.
The ACT Government is committed to removing barriers to enable women and girls to reach their potential, contribute to innovation and ideas and to take up leadership positions. The ACT Women’s Plan 2016-26 articulates the ACT Government’s plan to achieving this commitment.
The program will run from June to September 2019. Applications close Friday 7 June 2019. To apply for this program, women need to complete and submit an application form located at https://www.communityservices.act.gov.au/women/leadership-programs
