Lego loot located, two charged in Botany Bay

A woman and a man have been charged with multiple shoplifting offences after allegedly stealing from several retail stores near Botany Bay, NSW Police say.

About 4.40pm yesterday (Saturday 3 February 2018), police responded to reports of multiple thefts at a shopping centre, where Lego products had been targeted.

About 2am today, (Sunday 4 February 2018), a search warrant was executed at a home on Clyde Street, Vineyard, where multiple items, including 47 boxes of Lego, were located and seized.

Two people were arrested before being taken to Windsor Police Station.

A 28-year-old woman has been charged with larceny (x4) and driver not disclose identity of driver/passenger.

A 48-year-old man has also been charged with larceny (x3).

They were both granted conditional bail and will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday 22 February 2018.
