The Tasmanian Liberal Party's vote has collapsed across the state, with just 24.3 per cent of people voting Liberal.
That is the lowest primary vote for the Coalition in any state or territory by a considerable margin. The Tasmanian Liberals go from six federal representatives yesterday to only three if they lose their second Senate seat in last night's results.
Across the state, Liberal volunteers did not show up at booths and Premier Jeremy Rockliff's intervention into the campaign in the final two days appears to have set it backwards.
The biggest result was in the North-West. Anne Urquhart backed our salmon industry - hard. She fought for her community and won, with Labor passing legislation to protect the jobs of hundreds of West Coast workers.

As we move into a budget session that will show $10 billion in debt, a desperate privatisation plan and a Spirits project still $500 million over budget and at least six years overdue, it's clear Tasmanians have had enough of the Liberals and Premier Rockliff can't escape the scrutiny. .
