Premier Jeremy Rockliff has today announced the seven Liberal Candidates for Braddon who will keep building a better Tasmania, now and for the future.
A strong and experienced team that is ready to fight for Tasmania's best interests.
Speaking at Penguin Composites - a key employer on Tasmania's North West - the Premier said his Government backs business, and backs jobs.
"Our economy is strong, unemployment low, and our businesses are the most confident in the nation," the Premier said.
"We have achieved this through our plan to build a better Tasmania, now and for the future.
"We've been strong supporters of Penguin Composites, and when they've needed help, we've been there.
"The success we see here today is the result of strong leadership from a Government who puts Tasmanians and Tasmania's best interests first.
"I am proud to announce that Roger Jaensch, Felix Ellis and I will be seeking Tasmanians' support once again to continue to serve our community and continue to build a better Tasmania.
"Gav Pearce is a big name in Braddon - because he's done great things for the North West Coast.
"Gav knows Tasmania can't afford a Labor Green Government and has decided to once again step forward and put his hand up to protect Tasmania's best interests.
"I also welcome Giovanna Simpson, Kate Wylie and Stephen Parry who are all passionate, experienced and proven advocates for their community who are ready to serve Tasmanians on the North West.
"I am proud to stand alongside such a strong team who bring so much experience to the table.
"It's a team that will help us keep building a better Tasmania."
