Linda Elkins appointed new Asset & Wealth Management sector leader

KPMG today announced the appointment of Linda Elkins as its National Sector Leader - Asset & Wealth Management.

She joins KPMG as a Partner on 5 August, from Colonial First State, part of CBA. She will assume leadership of the Asset & Wealth Management practice, from Paul Howes, from 1 October 2019.

One of Australia's most experienced superannuation executives, Linda has been with CBA for over nine years and Executive General Manager at Colonial First State for the last 7 years. Linda has been responsible for providing member outcomes for more than one million superannuation members and investors. Colonial First State has approximately $140 billion of funds under administration and employs 1,100 people.

Linda has over 20 years' experience in financial services and has worked in a variety of roles and sectors including industry funds and government. Prior to Colonial First State, Linda worked for Russell Investments where she was responsible for providing a wide range of services including investments, consulting, administration, trustee services, member services and communications to some of Australia's largest corporate and industry superannuation funds.

Paul Howes, currently Head of Asset & Wealth Management, has become the National Managing Partner of KPMG Enterprise, on 1 July. He will continue to lead the Asset & Wealth Management practice and will transition responsibilities to Linda, who will then take over as sector leader on 1 October.

Linda is a Director of The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia Limited (ASFA) and has been a member and Chair of many committees for both ASFA and the Financial Services Council. Linda is also a member of Chief Executive Women.
