Listening Tour Heads To Broadford

We're bringing our Mitchell Listening Tour Broadford.

These community sessions are a chance for residents to hear directly from Councillors and Council staff about current priorities and future plans for Mitchell Shire. Each session will begin with a short presentation, followed by an informal expo-style session where you can ask questions and share your ideas.

Upcoming session

  • Broadford - Wednesday 2 July, 6pm to 7.30pm

Broadford Shire Hall, 18 Murchison Street

The Listening Tour is part of our commitment to staying connected with our community as we plan for the future of Mitchell Shire. A range of plans and projects are currently being developed, and your feedback will help shape priorities and decisions in the months ahead.

Council recently adopted its 2025-2026 Budget, with a strong focus on community infrastructure, roads and essential services. These sessions are also a great chance to learn more about what's planned and how your rates are at work across the Shire.

Inland Rail will also be there to answer questions on the works in and around Broadford.
