Snowy Monaro Regional Library is excited to invite the community to an engaging author talk featuring local talent T. S. Simons at Jindabyne Library on Thursday 8 February 2024 from 6pm to 8pm.

This special event will showcase the author's latest release Orenda, delving into the captivating world of her speculative fiction series The Latitude.

The series draws on the First Nations/Native American Iroquois belief that all natural objects and people possess a mystical energy. In a place far from home with an old enemy threatening her newfound security, protagonist Caitlin must draw on her orenda before it threatens to destroy the life she has built.

Orenda sees T. S. Simons building on the themes of her successful dystopian science-fiction series The Antipodes. As the first instalment of new series The Latitude, this latest novel explores integrity, sustainability, and the philosophical exploration of decision-making in a transformed world.

Join us at Jindabyne Library on Thursday 8 February from 6pm to 8pm for a free, engaging and unmissable author talk – perfect for fans of science-fiction, speculative fiction, and literature with real depth.
