Water Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the owner of a kayak which was located north of Comboyuro Point, Moreton Island today.
The kayak (pictured) was seen drifting at 11.40 this morning, June 24 and retrieved at 1.25 pm.
An immediate search of the area was conducted however no persons associated with the kayak have yet been located.
Police appeal to anyone who recognises the kayak and may have information in relation to the owner and their whereabouts to immediately come forward.
