This girl has now been located safe and well.
Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 17-year-old girl reported missing from Townsville last night, Queensland Police say.
The girl (pictured) was last seen on The Strand at around 10:30am on May 3 and has not been seen since.
Police hold concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition.
The girl is described as Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 165cm tall, of a slim build with long, curly black hair.
She was last seen wearing a light green hooded jumper, navy and white leggings with pink thongs and carrying a green bag.
Anyone who may have seen the girl is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
