Update: a 65-year-old man reported missing from Atherton today has been located safe and well, Queensland Police say.
Police and SES are searching for a 65-year-old man reported missing in Atherton today.
The man (picture) was last seen walking in Atherton CBD around 8.45am and has not made contact with family or friends since.
Police hold concerns for his safety as he suffers from a medical condition and it is out of character for him not to remain in contact.
He was last seen wearing a blue singlet, grey jumper, jeans, black shoes and carrying a blue shoulder bag.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
