Located tie bar, Surfers Paradise

Police have released photographs of a distinct tie-bar with chain, found at Surfers Paradise on Monday (November 8), in an effort to locate its rightful owner.

The vintage tie-bar is engraved on the back, reading "To Jack, From Babs 30.10.52".

The tie-bar was located around 7am at Orchid Avenue by a 78-year-old man and handed into the Surfers Paradise Police Station.

Police urge anyone with information that could identify the rightful owner of this jewellery to come forward.

Please note: proof of ownership will be required in order to collect the tie-bar.
