The City of Logan is in lockdown for the next three days.
Logan City Council has acted on the direction of the Queensland Government and the Chief Health Officer and will close many facilities and restrict some services from 4pm today (Saturday, July 31) through to at least 4pm, Tuesday, August 3.

Council's three Customer Service Centres - at Logan Central, Beenleigh and Jimboomba - will be closed but our telephone contact centre will remain open and can be reached on 3412 3412. Many Council service are available online.
All Queensland Health restrictions and guidelines, including the wearing of masks, social distancing, travel and use of the Check In QLD app, will be strictly enforced across the City of Logan including those Council venues that are not closed.
National Tree Day community planting events scheduled for Rochedale South and Loganholme tomorrow (Sunday, August 1) have been postponed to a date to be decided.
Council's top priority is the health and safety of our community, customers and staff.

The three-day lockdown is across 11 local government areas and follows the detection in the last 24 hours of six cases of the Delta variation of COVID-19 in Brisbane.
Impacted areas are Brisbane, Ipswich, City of Logan, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley and Scenic Rim.
The lockdown applies to everyone who was in those LGAs from 1am today (Saturday, July 31).
Everyone is urged to stay at home. If you are sick, stay at home and get tested.
For the duration of the lockdown, people can only leave home for essential reasons and only within 10km of their residence.
Essential workers can travel beyond the 10km radius as can people with a COVID-19 vaccination booking.
Reasons to leave home include:
- buying groceries or medications
- healthcare (including getting a vaccine), or to provide help, care or support
- attending work or study if you cannot do either from home
- childcare (for essential workers only)
- exercise in your local area (10km radius of your residence and with no more than one person not from your household).
Carry a mask whenever you leave home. You must wear a face mask at all times when you are outside your home.
Children under 12 and people with particular medical conditions or disabilities do not need wear a mask.
New restrictions have been introduced during the lockdown for home visitation, funeral, weddings, pubs, clubs, hospitality outlets and places of worship
