Logan speaks up for road safety

IMG_2993 (1)Mr Linus Power MP and Road Policing Command Assistant Commissioner Mike Keating today concluded Queensland Road Safety Week at the Logan Road Safety Expo, Queensland Police say.

What a week it has been! We are very proud of everyone’s efforts across the state. A big thank you to all who made the week the fantastic success it was.

Assistant Commissioner Keating said Road Safety Week gave Queenslanders the opportunity to think about and engage in conversations around road safety.

"Throughout this week police and emergency services have been out in the community spreading the message of road safety," Assistant Commissioner Keating said.

"Enforcement, our traditional role, needs to go alongside education. Our officers’ first-hand experience provides invaluable insight for the community.

"Although today is the conclusion of 2016’s Queensland Road Safety Week, we encourage every Queenslander to keep road safety at the forefront of their minds all year round."
