The Lott

Saturday lotto is proudly played across Australia under the brands Gold Lotto, Lotto, TattsLotto and X Lotto, bringing winning moments to players nationwide.

A self-proclaimed "unlucky" Logan woman is now raising a glass after snagging a cool $1.2 million in the Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

The Queenslander held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4645, drawn Saturday 24 January 2026 and scored $1,286,602.77 .

As the winning entry wasn't registered to The Lott Members Club, we had to wait for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

"Wow, just wow," the winning woman exclaimed.

"I'm still processing the news. I checked the ticket on Saturday, and I had to check the ticket about 10 times. I just couldn't believe it.

"I normally play Powerball and Saturday Lotto. In fact, I've been playing for 17 years, and I think the most I've ever won in my entire life is $90!

"I've always just thought I was unlucky in life.

"My partner and I had to go down to see the team at the newsagency today, and they were just dumbfounded.

"I honestly don't think it will feel real until it's in my bank account!"

When asked how she planned to celebrate her prize, the Queenslander revealed plans to feast on the winning moment.

"My partner and I are going to go out for lunch at a Korean BBQ place to celebrate!" she revealed.

"In terms of the prize, I think we'll go on a trip away."

The winning entry was purchased at Slacks Creek Discount Drug Store, 1/268 Kingston Road, Slacks Creek.

Slacks Creek Discount Drug Store owner Kamal Saini said he was in absolute disbelief when he first discovered his outlet had sold a division one winning entry.

"This is our first division one winning entry that we've sold and I'm in absolute disbelief. I had to ask my team to triple check the winning message that popped up on our terminal screen to make sure it was real!" he laughed.

"We've started to decorate the store, and we've been alerting all of our customers with the winning news this week.

"Our customers are so happy that someone from our community has had their life changed overnight.

"Congratulations to the winner and we're so happy for you. The division one win is so well deserved, and we hope the win makes your life easier!"
