Work has started on road pavement improvements and lowering of existing sewer pits along Lohr Avenue in Inverloch.
This $175,000 project is fully funded by Bass Coast Shire Council under its Road Renewal Program. This project began during the week starting Monday, 10 May and is expected to take around seven weeks to complete.
The project will include the repair of subsided road paving areas by fixing the existing road pavement and re-laying the existing pavers to match sewer pit levels at seven sites along Lohr Avenue, as well as the lowering of three sewer pit lids to match existing pavement levels.
Traffic and pedestrian control measures will be implemented onsite during these works and there will be some access restrictions, as required.
Local, emergency and waste services access will be provided at all times.
Council recognises that these works may present an inconvenience and appreciates patience during these times. The contractor will make every effort to minimise disruptions to motorists and local residents.
